David Fox

For over 20 years, David Fox has cultivated a design brand based upon his vision of timeless simplistic designs with a strong emphasis on long-term visual harmony. From the age of 16, David’s skills as an industrial designer were heavily influenced by his artistic mother and engineer father. From an early age, he had no reservations about the path he would follow.       

Founding David Fox Design Studio in Leeds, England has allowed David to realize his design goals with many of the top furniture brands from around the world.  Today, David calls Leeds his home with his children and an inspiring product design studio.

 

Design Story

With a style of funk and soul, fluidity is key in this design.
David Fox designed Superkool as an expression of a style of funk and soul. Iconic shapes and imagery are the source of inspiration for this range of products. Fluidity is the key with Superkool, with the wine glass shaped stem flowing into the seats under its curve, it blends in a positive direction. It is designed by meticulously observing sitting positions in different environments, for catching best demand for both relaxed and active postures.
